First and foremost as a project deliverable is the BAID CIAP Final Report.

Forty-seven other deliverables for the BAID CIAP Project are available for downloading below.  These include both documents and datasets. Click on the PDF , JPG , or ZIP icons in the right column to view or download.

Please note:

  • Documents are provided as PDF files.
  • Datasets, with ZIP files below, are for use in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or database applications. Most datasets include: ISO-formatted metadata as a PDF file; a thumbnail image as a JPG file; and a ZIP file containing the dataset, metadata XML files, and other file types.
  • All deliverables are provided for downloading below, with one exception: the 2014 DigitalGlobe satellite imagery, which is too large (120 GB). The ZIP files below are as large as 3 GB and some may take quite a while to download.
  • All deliverables are provided also on external hard drives shipped to the UIC, NSB, and State of Alaska DCCED.
  • Please read the associated metadata files carefully.
  • Please acknowledge BAID and cite the datasets as indicated in the metadata.
  • And don’t forget to take advantage of the most important deliverables for the project — the Imagery Time Viewer, Coastal Erosion Viewer, and Community Planning Tool — available now at http://barrowmapped.org.

Please do not share the datasets with others:

  • The 2014 DigitalGlobe satellite imagery is necessarily under a restricted license and can be used only by the UIC, NSB, BAID, State of Alaska DNR, and GINA. Please carefully read “High-Resolution 2014 DigitalGlobe Satellite Imagery Mosaic of the Barrow Region, Northern Alaska” (deliverable 1_06d), abide by the DigitalGlobe End User License Agreement (EULA, included in the ZIP file), and do not share the imagery with other entities.
  • The other datasets below will form the basis of scientific journal articles yet to be published. For this reason, we ask that you do not share any of them with groups or individuals outside the UIC, NSB, and State of Alaska DCCED until after June 30, 2018. The datasets can be identified as ZIP files and encompass high-resolution imagery, coastal change data, the detailed wetlands map, and more. A two-year embargo, or moratorium, on data distribution is important to allow BAID research to publish scientific literature.  Thanks for understanding!
  • For more information, please see the “Presentation on Data Deliverables”, deliverable 4_08c.
